Hello everyone! I figured I would start my posts with some background. I am a wife of 2 years, a stepmother to a 7 year old, and a mother of a 4 month old. My family is my world and I love them dearly even though they drive me crazy.

For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a wife. I dreamed of the perfect husband, perfect marriage, white picket fence but what I got was so much better. I got flawed, imperfect, vulnerable, all encompassing love. We have good days and we have bad days, we fight and we make up, we laugh and we cry, but always we love. As for that white picket fence well we just bought our first house and just as my marriage its far from perfect, but we love it.

Our 7 year old is quite entertaining. Hes smart and can pickup almost anything quickly, he loves sports and is excellent at them all, and he is stubborn to a fault.

Our 4 month old is a real handful. He has colic, acid reflux, and is now beginning teething. Lifes been really fun for this momma. We finally got him sleeping for more than an hour last week and I'll take any victory I can get. He is a big flirt and loves to smile at the ladies anywhere we go.

My life is hectic all the time but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Life is exactly what you make it, my family makes mine beautiful!
