Gardening
Yesterday I had a bit of a gardening project. It has been pretty hot here as of late, but it cooled down a bit yesterday, so I figured I would take care of some gardening which I've been needing to do.
The picture above is one of my flower beds that had become overgrown with weeds. As you can see, I've been neglecting it for a while. I had two flower beds to fix and this was the smaller one. I didn't take pictures of the other one. I'm really bad at that. Gardening isn't really my thing but I had my music playing in the garage, and I found it sort of therapeutic. It was also a decent activity with lots of standing and kneeling. It took a while bit I eventually cleared it out. Below is how it looked afterwards.

Yesterday I ended up with over 10000 steps again for a second day in a row. I could have done better than only 14 zone minutes and 8 flights of stairs though. I also need to start tracking my food again. I feel like that's the best way to lose weight, tracking what you eat and having a plan that you can follow.
Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today's song was a classic: The Message by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. It's one of my favorite songs. From the early days of rap when the lyrics really had meaning and told stories with morals. It was playing on a channel called Hip Hop BBQ which is quickly becoming one of my favorites on Sirius Xm.
