INJUSTICE

Every day, I ask myself millions of questions, am I able to go where I dream of being, am I strong enough for this crazy life ... Every day, I open my eyes a little more on this what is our world, where we are. When I'm opening my eyes I always lose a little more innocence and especially a little more fragility because here there is no place for the weak, so we have no choice to be or to prove ourselves that we are strong.

A world without mercy, without authenticity, without courtesy and where various atrocities occur regularly, just as far from us. An uncertain world, where life is not guaranteed, and where no one is safe from the horrors that sneak around. We all try to play the ignorant but deep down we all know that injustice reigns hard and that for a lot of people who live well, many people are penalized.

They say they want to help, want to change things but the truth is that this world is unequal and we can not do anything about it. It's like that. While you and I are spending on damn coffee, those who harvest it can not savor it. While we waste the water around us, others have barely a taste. Here, when a child dies, the media and everyone are talking about it while elsewhere we need thousands of dead children for us to respond. As if the life of others was less important, that his existence was worth less.

This is just a piece of what our pitiful world is, not to mention the criminals who are just waiting to hurt, not to mention the people who bully, those who do not care about others around them. As if our own life and our problems were not enough for us. But you and I do not have to complain, because deep down we are pitiful, selfish and unhuman. Our race is more than weak and lazy. We are barely able to do the dishes while others have to walk miles to get to somewhere, our life is superficial and far from natural but no one wants to hear it sure, but certain as I already realize.

Let's stop wanting what we do not have and learn to appreciate the chance we are given.

we just have to try for the best every time and thinking about the others too. That's not always the case but we have to for the sake of all. I know that life isn't fair and whoever thinks the opposite have some problem :P but we must try to make it that way

I agree! Thank you for your comment @filotasriza3.

The animal world is cruel. Animals actively eat the babies of other species. Animals rape each other, fight each other, and let each other starve.

Are humans shitty? Depends on what we're comparing it to. We've displayed a pretty incredible amount of growth and compassion amongst ourselves as we've evolved of the struggle for survival. Sure - shit sucks. Sure, the media is designed to show you the worst of the worst to get you outraged and addicted. Sure, we could be better.

But poverty, violence, and homelessness is on a steady decline. We are starting to see widespread gender equality for the first time in... maybe ever. We are able to keep our children alive so much that our population is BOOMING.

If you compare where we are now to the rest of history, we are the kindest we've ever been.

Sure, if we compare us in the past, we're better today then ever, but there's a lot of injustices between poor and rich. Money create a lot of problems. These problems continue to exist today and will exist in the futur too. Btw, thank you for your comment and yes there's a lot of good things today who doesn't exist in the past like you mention!

You paint a pretty bleak picture, and unfortunately for a large part of humanity it is true, but I also see glimmers of hope, examples of real caring, especially in places where you might least expect it. I have traveled the world and gotten to know people that were financially poor but socially rich, with strong family bonds; kids that would work hard to take care of their parents, for love of their family. "Poor" people that would invite others from the street to come in and share the little food they had. Even in our western society there are people looking to share their wealth. Not all is lost. I have hope.

Wow, thank you so much for this comment. This is so true and I have hope but sometimes when I look at the news on the Tv I feel soo bad to be in this world, but we have to look at the good things and not always the bad things that happen in our world. You have a great way to see things and I appreciate the fact that you take the time to wrote your opinion.

I stopped watching the news more than a decade ago and haven't watched any regular TV in recent years either, because it was all so focused on the negative aspects of life. It's easy to get depressed when you allow that to be your guide of the state of the world...
