Every man brings a sharp weapon 👅
Every man brings a sharp weapon
Every man is born with a sharp weapon that he uses till death.
And the Tathagata taught this sharp weapon to the Brahmins of the Sagatavarga. There the Tathagata compared the human tongue to a sharp weapon.
And you will also see the noble nature of the person, how the Bodhisattva advised his mother to control this sharp weapon.
Only because of the uncontrollability of this small tongue,
a man loses his loved ones.
a friend loses his dear friend.
a disciple is deprived of the affection of his teacher.
In the family, in society, there is strife everywhere.
Just as friends are found by using this tongue correctly, similarly, friends and relatives become enemies due to its wrong use.
Only with the tongue did the Bodhisattva do such a great deed, the fruit of which could not be escaped even after attaining Buddhahood. He had to be humiliated by the beautiful wanderer, humiliated by the Chinchaman Vikara. Even six years of sadhana had to be done only because of the uncontrolled tongue.
Because of this unbridled tongue, Amrapali had to live as a city prostitute.
There are many more such terrible stories that have to be suffered only because of this two-inch tongue.
Only because of the uncontrolled tongue, humans have to do such terrible deeds,
because of which they have to suffer in hell for many kalpas.
They have to go to the ghost world.
They have to go to the demon world.
They have to be born as a twisted creature.
So before saying anything, know the truth from the lie well and then say it.
Remember, your mouth doesn't just feed you, it will sometimes make you do things that have consequences beyond your imagination.
Therefore, everyone should rein in their tongue.
I will use my tongue as I please
Avoid this false pride.
