It's Mindfulness. I find the same thing when I hike, knit or do pottery. This kinds of practices are important.
For me: candle mediation, jigsaws and counting birds outside :)
There always seems to be a bit missing when I do a jigsaw. I think the jigsaw fairies must steal them!

Jigsaw fairies are evil. There is probably a massive pile of jigsaw pieces hidden away somewhere that they gloat over.
