Day 2 Working at Goodwood Festival of Speed
Second day of working at Goodwood Festival of Speed
First day Here
Same time – 05:30 up, dressed, washed, bleary-eyed and off to the pick-up point. Off to the check-in for coffee and packed lunch pick up. Then we have a half mile or so walk to our work station – Start line Grandstand.
Everyone is great to work with and the public are awesome. Questions are always polite and directions are easy (they mostly only want to know where the toilet is).
Red Arrows display overhead (almost) and the cars are AMAZING!
The shift went fast today and it seemed like no time at all before we were let loose to go and roam.
As Staff, we’re allowed into places the public aren’t allowed (or at least they have to pay to get in there) but one of my favourite places today was the Paddocks.
I’ll have to do pictures tomorrow or Monday because I’ve run out of data LOL
Today we’ve seen the Deranged stand, the Paddocks and the Aston Martin stand (as I said in my previous post).
Tomorrow we’re going up to the top to see the bikes and back down to the bottom to see the Supercars!
Oh look! My initials… Can I have it then? ;)
Awesome blog! :)
Thank you :)

I think there may be a wait... I put my name down for the same thing... they haven't contacted me yet ;)

Thank you. That blog should arrive later today (Tuesday).
If you lick it, it's yours! Wait - no, I tried that at SEMA and got some funny looks from Security.
Ah! If I'd have known, I would have tried that! - Maybe next time...
Range Rover riding on two wheels - that was interesting)
It was! He got better and better each day.
From what I gather, he jumps into a car he's never driven before and off he goes! Awesome talent!
Great to be able to work there!
Check my blog I also love cars.
It really was a great opportunity.
Cars, bikes... pretty much anything with an engine that makes a noise :)
