Would You Kill For Greater Good ?

The question is that simple. Would you kill for greater good ? 

Maybe you would, maybe you wouldn't. You will probably say "Who am I gonna kill ?" and that is totally normal. 

There are some people who banished with being ''bad'' person from the media or cinema. Most of us would kill them for greater good, right ? Well, some of us say that no one should be killed for what he/she did. (That is totally what I agree.) But let's ignore this situation's existance. You have to kill the person right in front of you or that person will kill other people. 

Let's scenerio it. 

In the middle of the night, you are walking to your home. You got out your job. Yes, you are working too much. Anyway, in your street's dark places, you see someone is shouting for help. When you look to that place, you see 1 llittle boy(3), 1 little girl(5), their mother who is shouting, their unconscious father and a man with a gun in his hands. 

Freeze the time!

Okay, you have only 2 seconds to make a decision. Would you run or do something ? If you chose to run, that is totally understanable. You don't have to risk your life for other's. And this is not your responsibility, this is police or goverment's responsibility.

But this is my story, so we are going with ''do something'' option. 

After 2 seconds, you chose to do something. So you did. You found a gun right in front of you and aim it to the man. (This is my story so anything can happen.)

You have at most 3 seconds to pull the trigger. Would you pull the trigger ? 

It is easy in theory. It is too easy to say "I would pull the trigger with no hesitation." But in practice, I don't think it would be that easy. It is lose-lose situation. If you pull trigger, you become a killer. If you don't pull the trigger or run, that family will die. You have to live with that remorse.

What would you do ?

Or make this much more personal. You have a gun in your hands, your mother and your father right in front of you. They say to you "You will kill your mother and father or we will drop a nuclear bomb in a African country."

What would you do ?

You have only 1 chance to go back in time and see Hitler's childhood. You have a chance to kill Hitler, in his childhood.

What would you do ?

Anyway, these are the questions I ask myself. I have some answers for this scenerios. Do you ? 

PS: Killing is contrary to the law. Do not kill anybody. But thinking is not contrary to the law. Use this right, while you can. Or can you ?
