Good Samaritans Rescue 9-Month-Old Found Lying in The Middle of the Road
A 9-month-old baby was rescued after she was allegedly abandoned in the middle of the street in New York.
In a heart-wrenching video taken by a bystander, the small baby girl can be seen crying as she lay in the middle of the road by herself.
Eventually a stranger picks the distressed baby girl up.
In the video, a woman claiming to be the baby’s mother shows up before the video cuts off.
The Utica Police Department said the baby’s mother, Ledrika E. Ford, 27, has since been arrested and charged with child endangerment.
Police said that after the incident they searched for Ford and the child for hours before they were located.
Ford told police that the infant was secured in the back seat of a vehicle they were in and when she looked back a short time later, the child was not there. Full article here.
Newborn Boy Abandoned in Arizona Airport Bathroom: 'Hopefully Someone Saw Something'
An hours-old infant has been found abandoned in a bathroom outside Tucson International Airport, police said.
The baby was discovered Sunday night by an employee. The boy appeared to have been born that night, and was lying on a changing table, wrapped tightly and cleaned up, in a bathroom adjacent to the facility's rental car offices.
Authorities are trying to determine whether the baby was delivered in the women's room, airport police spokeswoman Jessie Butler told InsideEdition.com Monday.
Investigators are watching surveillance footage from several cameras trying to find an image that would lead them to the child's mother, Butler said. Police are also interviewing passengers who were in the area at about 9:30 p.m. Full article here.
Dad Recreates Disney's Fireworks Inside 7-Year-Old Daughter's Room
A dad in Nevada recreated a scene from Disney Land inside his 7-year-old daughter’s playroom.
Lyle Coram said his daughter, Shelby, loves the theme park, but her favorite part is when fireworks erupt over the park’s castle so he wanted to recreate if for her.
Shelby is now able to watch the Disney Land fireworks display that mimics the one at the theme park right in her home.
“We started with fiber optics in the ceiling and then we came up with the projector idea and fireworks on the ceiling,” Coram told InsideEdiiton.com.
The dad first came up with the idea two years ago, and the family has been adding to it ever since. It took about three months to build initially. Full article here.
