The design of Asahico Clinic is located in Tokyo, where the aging population of this part of the city is rising. The project employer has plans to open an open clinic in the area, which is slightly different than the health centers and ordinary hospitals. The idea behind the design of the clinic is that in the future, residents can take advantage of their family doctor in the building. In fact, the clinic building is a service space for individuals with their own specialist doctors, and individuals can take advantage of the clinic's facilities for visits or treatments.

The plan of the L-shaped clinic is designed to use the maximum area at the site's border. The building's axis extends to the northeast and is characterized by a modular, dynamic design, with alternating skylights. Slim windows are a great filter for controlling and infiltrating natural light to the building while protecting privacy for customers. The concealed design of the steep building has created a powerful link between the surroundings and surrounding buildings, which is influenced by the native Japanese architecture.

The clinic building consists of two floors. On the first floor, clinical examination rooms are available for disabled and elderly people to facilitate their traveling, and the second floor is for staff members and services. The architects designed the facade as a steep house in order to transfer the image and feel of a typical house to the visitors. The height of the clinic's roof gradually increases to the center of the building, so that the area is dominated by the atmosphere, and the feeling of a tight, compact space can not be transmitted.

According to the project architect, in order to open the wide second floor lounge, it was decided that the wall of the building will retreat a little and connect directly to the second floor. Therefore, the structure of RC (RC structures) is used for geometric shapes and the implementation of an integrated wall. Most of the western and southern side of the building is constructed by reinforced concrete structures. This structure allows the slope and wall to be integrated in a seamless manner so that the walls are load-bearing and there is no need to create a column in the project.
