Telling the truth - is ALWAYS the right and best thing to do.
Since when has lying ever been a good thing, apart from white lies to prevent people from being upset about something that isn't for your selfish reasons and would only upset them.
Lying usually is only used for self gain at the expense of others, its a word that is almost always connected to deception. Sometimes someone will lie because its easier to lie than to tell the truth and have everything go up in the air when they might have made a mistake like cheating on there partner or getting into debt.
The problem with lies is that often if someone tells a lie, they probably lie about a lot of other things. When someone lies they don't want someone to know something so usually at some point they have to keep making up more lies to keep up the original lie and getting this situation often the lies get worse and more serious.
I don't believe in karma but almost all the time lies come out in the end and the more someone has lied to keep a lie up the bigger the bang when it comes out. Now doesn't this just show that if the original lie hadn't of happened and the liar just told the truth in the beginning then although not great, it would have caused far less drama.
We all make mistake and do things wrong but not only is wrong to lie and think you can do things with out consequences but those people you lie to don't deserve to be living in the bubble of lies you tell them. Telling the truth can hurt people but everyone deserves the truth so they live in the world that actually exists, as not only is wrong for them to be all happy when in fact they would be upset, a lot of the time when those lies come out it can cause huge trauma and send people into huge downward spiralling mental health issues. Some very close to me had this done to them and it nearly destroyed them and they are still trying to recover.
If we all are honest and tell the truth then everyone will be in the same place and we can make the best of what ever situation we are in. White lies are ok, like not telling someone you think they are ugly when they want to date you or something. The truth should always used if its not just insult someone or upset someone for no reason.
Truth and lies can greatly affect mental health and this another reason for us to be a real and honest as possible.
So true in everything you say. I always try to tell the truth because I do not like to be lied to. My husband always says,"to be a good liar you have to have a good memory. If you tell the truth the story is always the same because it's not fabricated." We're in the minority and I am proud of it. Cheers
Yes! There is so much truth in hat statement.
Thanks for the great reply :)
there you have this help from @yoo1900 take advantage of it.
I will thank you
good friend, they marked you with negative vote ... that's why I tell you not to speak badly of the system, as I said, it's usually unfair, but sometimes it's fair, it's not that I told you to lamba boots to others , but I can tell you a piece of advice, in this medium, be neutral if you express what you feel. has many does not like this kind of behavior
if feel like something is wrong I will speak out. Speaking against things that could be bad is more important than money.
nice post
The thing about truth is that it is ultimately vindicated. Time, i might add, is the best friend of truth.
And lies, well. The reverse is true.
