Practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is a gift to yourself. Forgiveness does not mean that what a person did was okay. Forgiveness is about moving forward by accepting what has happened and letting go of anger. This allows you to move forward with your life.
I admit that it will take you more than a minute to effectively practice forgiving others and yourself, but the effort will be well worth it. Just remember forgiveness helps you more than the person who hurt you.
