HECTIC DAY

So its me again......had a hectic but fulfilling day today....set out by 7am with the hustle and jostling for transportation in order to get to the office early......by the way this is Port Harcourt City, Rivers State Nigeria

Got to Rumuokoro roundabout and was about entering a cab to take me to rumuola when a fight broke out between 2 touts for reasons best known to them and you can trust there was so much pandemonium and shouting because one of the persons had his head cut open with whatever i failed to notice as it seems i got there quite late and he was wielding a screwdriver as a tool of revenge to inflict pain and havoc upon his assailant......the chap was a fellow of great height and built but ironically the chap who seemed to have got his head torn was much shorter and smaller......and for a second i wondered just how possible could that have occurred.....the tall chap was dragging his assailant with the intend of sending jabs of the screwdriver down his mid section.......but if not for the crowd that was agog with the whole incidence i guess we might have had a lifeless body lying by the road side in no distant time......all these events occurring in less than 2 minutes of my getting to that roundabout

I immediately yelled at the cab driver "OGA WILL YOU GET US OUT OF HERE" for reasons i didn't understand the driver was so keen on the events to unfold and as i looked up ahead i saw a police officer walking towards the scene of this whole distraction but at that point we had zoomed off

Arrived at the office settled down in.........cleared a lot of paper work i had to do and at about 1pm i and my boss drove out to the steel village just before Oyigbo to have a meeting with a major seller there. the meeting went successful and we got back to the office at about 3pm

Had some internal board meetings on the way forward and wrapped things up at the office and set out by 7:30pm for my residence back to rumuokoro area

Got home took a shower had diner and decided to just drop this here to share with you guys how my day went in a nutshell...........need some rest and need to sleep will be back tomorrow with some whole stuff about some upcoming activities i have lined up
