It is a heavy scent, but it could be some sort of night-blooming plant, although I can't imagine what. Maybe one of the people living out there likes to bathe in cologne and then sit silently in the shrubbery and wait for someone to notice. Maybe I have a not very subtle stalker that has not quite mastered the art of being sneaky. Maybe I have something wrong with my nose and/or smell sensing part of my brain that makes me over-react to only a subtle smell. Or it is a ghost.
I think I prefer ghost.
