Hete Bliksem: An old Dutch dish; a mash of 2 parts potatoes, 2 parts apples, and 1 part onions. Traditionally served with blood pudding.
Having seen what the skirt-wearing oatmeal crowd usually eats, this should be a delicacy for you.
That does sound like a delight!! I will have to make it!! Maybe even ferment the mix and make some godawful alcohol out of it!
