Friend Zone. How hard it feels to be ignored by someone u love
I sat in the dark and watched you cry
I yearned to give you a shoulder or lend you a hand
But when I called to you time and time again
You looked through me like I wasn't even there
You sank to your knees and clenched your fists
You punched the floor and shred your frock
I stretched my arms to hold you close
But you walked right through me like I was mist
Why couldn't I help you, I wondered
Why wouldn't you notice me?
You said everyone else deserted
but how could you not see I'd never leave?
