BECOME A STEWARD PARENT
One of the blessings of marriage is children; the bible refers to them as heritage of the Lord. Which means they are indeed inheritances from the Lord. They are given to us on trust to raise and train on behalf of the Lord Himself, and we cannot afford to fail in this assignment.
When a child turns out badly it all means that the stewards in charge of that child failed God. A child had various phases in their development; the suckling toddling, infancy, adolescence. To miss it then is to suffer major regrets thereafter. The bible never said we should train up a teenager in the way he should go but to train up a child.
You should take on the steward mentality and apparel from the day one, knowing that the window of opportunity to eternal shaping is only a few years. Miss that season and you could lose that child for life. Whoever is saddled with the responsibility of directing that child in the way he should go has a lot of work to do; and more so, he or she would have to give account of their stewards.
May God grant us the effective and successful steward parenting in Jesus Name. Amen.
