What've You Been Listening To Lately? VOL. #1. (AUGUST 8TH, 2017).
Hi friends, acquaintances, enemies, and ne'er-do-wells.
Today, tonight, whatever you might want to call it due to my apparent inability to grasp the concept of "what the fuck time is it?," I think that I want to begin a sporadic foray into dropping tracks unto thee of what I'm currently listening to.
I'm sure many of you don't know, but I'm consistently listening to a lot of music, primarily and hopefully what I haven't previously heard prior-to. I, without any apparent discretion, discard and simultaneously horde tracks depending on what I currently deem "that sounds like shit," and "wait, that sounds pretty good, I could listen to that."
Here, you can count on peering into my head and gaining a view of what I currently perceive as "this doesn't sound like shit," and "wait, I could listen to that."
Cutting to the chase, and burning the psychobabble at the stake, without further adieu, I present to you, what I've been listening to the last week or so. Lets make it a three track endeavor for the sake of format.
PART TIME - CASSIE (WON'T YOU BE MY DOLL)
JOHN MAUS - BENNINGTON
GENEVA JACUZZI - "DO I SAD?"
I tend to jump from genre to genre indiscriminately, depending on what I currently want to hear.
Without music, I become very stir-crazy. It's practically a pacifier to my mind. If I don't have something to hear, to occupy my subconscious, I find it hard to concentrate.
Music to me is essentially a precursor to the curse of having to breathe. So expect more quality curation. Like it or not, that's up to you, but hopefully I'm able to expose you to some music you would have otherwise not have heard.
Eternal unwavering love and compassion,
@Matt-A / @AGORIC.SYSTEMS
Oh yeah, and if you haven't already, give our efforts a vote, vote for us as witness, @AGORIC.SYSTEMS

I need to make more music, I was thinking about trying to use some Steem dollars to buy a multi-track recorder on amazon. . . after I get a new laptop. Thanks for crediting my cross-eyed Jesus picture, glad you liked it. rock on \m/
yes, make more music.
you are awesome at it.
Make more music . . . then post it! I converted a bit of your SBD into BTC, just a little left. But first we have to figure out what you're trying to buy. Do some research and send me some ideas.
You robbed me, you damn rogue. I hate a thief, by god.
FORGIVE ME.
"Hi friends, acquaintances, enemies, and ne'er-do-wells."
For sure i'm you Steemit friend ;)
Second choice John Maus- Bennington, is very interesting...to be honest reminds me watching movie "Clockwork orange", kinda makes me feel that way...
But at all very extraordinary music you have here.
Listening Geneva Jacuzzi-good one!!!!
Thanks for share.
A person who actually listened to the music! Nice!
A Clockwork Orange, eh? Interesting. That's an absolutely wild book/movie! I love the way it reads, the way Burgess plays with the English and Russian languages.
You're welcome! Hang around and I'll surely share more as time passes.
Thanks for paying attention!
I don't know but in that moment made me think of that movie.
If we still about movie- one of my favorites of all time.
And for sure "Clockwork orange'' is Burgess masterpiece of all time.
I do respect people's work on Steemit, and how much effort it takes to do that.
Thanks for your upvote, appreciate that a lot.
Hi)) Excellent post)) And I'll share with you my favorite music)))
Привет! Когда я слушаю необычную музыку, мои друзья удивлены. Я им всегда отвечаю "Эта музыка... Она классная, к ней надо привыкнуть)" Я очень люблю музыку и она мне нужна как воздух.
Hello! When I listen to unusual music, my friends are surprised. I always answer them "This music ... It's cool, you have to get used to it)" I really love music and I need it like air. @matt-a
I guess it is easy to lose track of time when you are lost in a trance created by melancholic music which you unequivocally can't stop listening to. You enter this psychedelic state where you start to reflex or even zone out of life as your soul starts to dance coherently with the music.
The person who I have been listening recently is this guy called 'Myles Kennedy' who wrote a song called Before Tomorrow Comes. I love his husky voice and the guitar he strums away and creates this wonderous blissful tune.
It may not be as enchanting and bewitching as the music you listen to but it is a refreshing change.
Music is accustomed to great power as it has great power to toy with our emotions and how we perceive and live life.
Thanks for all these great suggestions @matt-a
I love the sound of Part Time - Cassie. It is so beguiling and just truly amazing! :)
You just came back from down South and you are listening to this?!?!
Where the hell is the Hank, Haggard or Jones???? LOL
I listen to everything, man! Hahaha, you really are an old guy, aren't you!

Following you for more! I am into many things - have a passion for photography right now and learning to surf waves down in Costa Rica.
Niceeee, glad you enjoyed! Share some music back!
I see that, looks like you're leading quite an interesting life. Super jealous haha. Are you originally from Costa Rica?
sorry Matt I really didn't mean to ignore your message - it just got lost in a tidal wave. I am originally from the island of Guernsey - just off the coast of France. Just found myself lured to paradise by waves and wildlife! haha Have a great steemy day - and I am watching out for more from you =)

Btw JOHN MAUS - BENNINGTON - was my fav on your list :)
"pacifier to my mind"..... I think most of us can relate to...I can.. ;)
I'm glad someone gets some of the cryptic-sounding stuff I type. I don't mean to do it, but I find myself trying to condense ideas into smaller packages.
hahaha...personally, I use the "cryptic-sounding stuff" way too often and sometimes I'm being misunderstood by others... ;)
