In other news, I got beem working on windows and worked a bit on my comment-abuse-finding script. I have to convert a lot of the content of steem-comments to a nice format. Regex is great for that stuff so I learned that. Currently, still thinking about how to define some mathematical functions to measure textual similarity. The ones which I thought would be good are not very useful, I think this mainly has to do with an unsuitably norm I am using. Probably, can get some results next week.
So far no luck yet on landing a job. Got requests to do some character and numerical tests for the first selection round. Hopefully can get round to do those tomorrow.
It actually seems that having a mathematics Phd has no direct added value for most job openings. At education for suitable jobs they put Msc or Phd. D:

What similarity function are you using? Not that I'd know anything better. Something that measures word frequencies? Number of unmatched characters when trying to line up two blobs of text? Dunno what's in use for this kind of thing.
Something like a word and sentence frequency function. But I want to increase the output in a non-linear way so that the more similar it is the higher the outcome. I initially did it in a linear way, but it makes more sense to do it in quadratic way.
