Working Students

John 6:27
"Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endure life."

I was a working student in college as part of my duties as a scholar. I had to work 5 hours a day in a certain office in the campus. There were times when I felt it was unfair because instead of studying so I could maintain my good grades, I still had to work. But now that I'm older, I realized how God has blessed me through that experience, honing my abilities and preparing me for bigger working environment.

The verse above reminds me that while so me work for food and survival, I worked for my education----something that's more enduring.

Let's honor our friends who work so they could finish their studies. May they inspire us to value the privileges given to us.
