FROM “PEOPLE’S FAULTS”
My faults, should you inquire, are legion.
Who is, amongst people, faultless?
Man can’t be held for what remains hidden,
And can but judge by what sight assesses.
Legion are those whose deeds are shameless.
Legion are pockets that are with fraud ridden.
How can such weakly men the world address
Lions cannot stalk, if clawless and fangless
