Our Decisions Can Make Us Rich or Poor
The average adult watches about five hours of television each day. For some people, it is seven or eight hours. They turned on the television first thing in the morning and watch it until they leave for work. They turn it back on as soon they get home from work. They then watch television until 11 or 12 o'clock at night, going to bed without enough time to get a good nights sleep. They then get up in the morning, drink coffee, and watching television for as long as they can before they go off to work once more.

Our television set can make us rich or poor. If we watched it all the time, it will make us poor. Psychologist have shown that the more television we watch, the lower are our level of energy and self-steem. At an unconscious level, we don't like or respect our self as much, if we sit there hour after hours watching television. People who watch too much television also gain weight and become physically unfit from sitting around too much.
Our television can also make us rich, but only if we turn it off. When we turn off our television, we free up time that we can use to invest in becoming a better, smarter, and more competent person. When we leave our television off when we are with our family, we will find ourself talking, sharing, communicating, and laughing more often. When we leave our television off for extended periods of time, we break the habit of watching television and we will hardly miss it at all. Our television can be an excellent servant, but it's a terrible master. It's our choice.
Thank you for dropping by and have a good day fellow steemians.
