Muscovy Duck with Babies
Watch this video I took of a Muscovy Duck with some cute little babies. Who doesn't like cute little birds? The Muscovy duck is mostly found in South America and Mexico. There are some in Florida and Texas in the United States. We seem to have a lot around where I live. They mostly like forested areas that are near water. It roosts high up in trees at night and makes it's nests in tree cavities. They usually have 8 to 10 eggs in the nest. They eat mostly vegetation, insects and seeds. They do not migrate.
I don't have any pictures of the Muscovy Duck, just the video. Here is a picture of a Mallard duck with it's young that I took.

I am an award winning photographer and filmmaker. Many of my pictures have been used in TV Shows and Feature Films, such as "Zero Dark Thirty", "NCIS Los Angeles" and "The Walking Dead".
Many of my bird pictures and videos have been used by The National Audubon Society and Sarasota Audubon and used on several TV shows, like "Animal Outtakes" on ABC. Enjoy!

As much as I like living in the Philippines; Preserves and sanctuaries in America are top notch. I do miss the abundance of species, and spending my time within nature. Keep up the great work, Mark!
Those little babies were going pretty fast, Mama was not going to let them out of her sight. Did you take the video whith your cell phone? I was just wondering because it came out very well.
