Drawing +Story true wealth
One day, the father of a wealthy family decide to take their son on a trip to show how rich they are and how ordinary people live. Father and son spent the several days and nights on the farm of poor families.
Back home, the father asked his son:
- Well, son, how would it seemed trip?
- Oh, that was great, Dad!
- Did you see how poor some people are? asked his father.
Son replied: - I saw that we have one dog and they have four. We have a pool, and they have a large pond. We have bulbs in the garden, they have the stars at night. We have a piece of land, they have broad fields stretching to the horizon beyond. We have servants, and they serve all others. We buy food, they cultivate. We have walls that defend our property, they have friends who protect them.
Upon hearing the words of his son, the father left stunned. Son added: - Dad, thank you for showing me how poor we are!
Conclusion: True wealth is not on material things you have, but what dwells in your soul. Friends, goodness and freedom are the true treasures of life.
