A letter to a beautiful soul

Life gives us heavier and lighter struggles, but what matters is how we overcome them. No one, no one has the right to minimize someone's suffering, just because he does not seem to be too much to be taken into account. I know you suffer. I know it hurts. That the tears flow. Or sometimes you want to cry, but the source in you has dried up. I know you feel alone. Even among people. That sometimes you're like a mollusk, wanting to do so and end up doing nothing. I would like to say that I understand you, but I do not know if they do it, because our struggles are different. I can only say I have experienced the pain and that makes me aware that many people around me suffer without even realizing it.

We have learned over time that our sufferings are different and we probably do not understand them, but regardless of the pain we carry in our hearts and flesh, the solution is universal. God! Maybe God seems to you at an endless distance. That he has his ears closed. That he does not see you. That's how I thought for a while, until I realized that my eyes were closed, my ears closed and my heart stiff. God is the best friend anyone can have. He's always there when everyone goes away. And He takes his time to listen. Understand your pains. For in Him there is no pain or too much pain. It's just pain. And he understands it, because he always experiences it. Some do not speak it well. Others reject it. And some accept it with great devotion. Just as it happens in our lives, with the people around us. That is why He is best suited to telling you how you feel, how others do you to evaluate, how trust is in you, how you no longer see solutions, how the roads seem to go nowhere. Thus, you will be sure that no matter how empty people your world will be, it will always be full of God.

Yes, I understand you may not want to hear anything of all this. That you are too deep in your pain to believe that this solution really exists and can work. But, believe me, with the time the light begins to see among all the cracks and scars in the soul. And then you will understand, you will know that your value is not defined by men, by what others think about you, but by your identity in Christ. And the identity we have in Him is heavenly because we are destined to become saints. And people who seek sanctification, even if they sometimes hinder themselves, are beautiful. Beautiful even with tears in the eyes. Even with lost fights. They are blessed with a heart that feels so deeply what is happening to them. And then be able to share the experience to be of benefit to others who can fight the same path.

So, let the tears flow. Let the pain manifest itself. But never leave God. Hold fast to Him and put Him in His hand, even if you feel that you are no longer a whole, but only shards. You are precious and important. Especially for Him, but also for us, everyone else in this world.

I hug you with the arms of a man who knew the pain and overpowered it because of God. Let us meet soon in earthly and heavenly fields!
