Sunday was very healthily. In the beautiful Masuria area, we visited the town of Gołdap, which is located on a beautiful lake of the same name. Gołdap is located on the border between Poland and the Kaliningrad Oblast. In 2014, graduation towers were built, which are very often visited by locals as well as people from all over Poland.
Let me introduce you to the topic :)
In the past, graduation towers were built to obtain salt from brine, but those in Gołdap were built for healing purposes. Their operation is based on the fact that previously injected brine to the top of graduation towers runs down the branches and, thanks to the sun and wind evaporates, creating a mist rich in microelements around the graduation tower, previously regarded as an undesirable side effect of salt production. Today, however, it is known that inhalations in the graduation microclimate help in treatment and prevention.
The specific microclimate of graduation towers is produced as a result of dripping brine and air movement. This results in intense evaporation and aerosol production. The graduation tower saturates the air with iodine, bromine and other micronutrients such as magnesium, sodium, potassium or iron. The resulting aerosol is characterized by special health values. Staying in graduation towers is recommended in the prevention and treatment of upper respiratory tract disorders, sinusitis, emphysema, hypertension, vegetative neurosis, depression, stress and general exhaustion.
