My story - How the caterpillar became a butterfly

One summer in the garden near our house my daughter found a big, fluffy caterpillar. The caterpillar was simply gorgeous - in other words, you can not call it, in general, a beauty. The daughter brought her home. My mother, seeing this pretty insect from head to foot, suggested that we carry out an experiment with our daughter - to grow a butterfly from our caterpillar with our own hands. So be it. It was decided to see firsthand how the caterpillar turns into a pupa, and then into a butterfly.

I took an ordinary plastic container, planted a caterpillar and lavished it generously in a container of grass. Top covered with a lid, but not to the end, so that the fluffy beauty received air. I put the containers on the window.

My daughter and I watched closely our ward. She strolled along the new house, ate grass, and on the second day turned into a chrysalis. A friend came to visit me. Seeing the container on the window with incomprehensible content, she asked: "What's so interesting about you?" - "It's our caterpillar. We grow a butterfly from it, we conduct an experiment, so to speak. " The friend gloomily glanced sideways at the container and asked: "Can you look at something?" - "Look, of course." She opened the container and looked at the doll lying in the grass. Then she laughed: "Yes, she has died for a long time already. Throw her out! "-" She is not dead. Though slowly, the process of turning it into a butterfly is going on. "The girl closed the container and said:" Well, let's see what will grow! " I'm also biologists! ".

About a week later - about a miracle - finally there was not a butterfly, but a beautiful butterfly of black color with white specks on its wings. Hooray, it worked! The experiment was a success. I took the moth out of the container and carried it to the street. There I planted a flower. The moth seemed to be sleepy, probably not yet recovered from reincarnation. He sat motionless for a long time on a flower, and then flew to another place-building materials. He spent a few hours motionless in this place, and then flew away, and we did not see him again.
