The Fear of Being Judged
No matter how strong we are, we all do have some kind of fear in our life. Fear of losing someone, fear of falling down in life, fear of past incidents or fear of being judged.
Many a times, we don’t realize our fear until we face them. And, many times we don’t even accept our fear, because some where we have a fear that people will judged us or maybe make fun of us.
Millions of dream have been killed just because of that one fear, “Fear of Being Judged”. The fear of what society will say or think, what if I fail, how will my friends and family response. We started questioning ourselves just because of that fear of being judged.
One Thing Can Lead To Devastating Effects
We never know or realize how much our one judgment can affect someone and how deeply it can affect their life. Until, we or our close one’s go through the same situation in our lives.
We all are continuously learning in life. Nobody knows it all and is 100% prepared. Some people learn faster and some slower according to their experience and capability. We are all learning in this life, so we can’t judged some one because we think we are better than them in that particular thing.
Already there is many competition and complexity going in people’s life. And when they are trying to do something or learn something, instead of helping them many people are judging them out just because we think are doing better.
But, that one judgment can develop lack of confidence and interest in that particular thing or even in trying out new things. Sometimes, it can get even worse where people feel so bad about themselves that they go into depression and may even commit suicide. All because os someone’s negative comment or judgment.
P. S. Your Judgement Can Shatter Someone’s Dream
This article is truly based on my personal experience. So, It’s my humble request to all that be kind and think before you judge someone. Because I really don’t want someone goes through this same experience as I have faced through in my life.
“YOUR ONE JUDGEMENT CAN CHANGE SOMEONE’S LIFE FOREVER”.
So, please don’t judge and don’t let people judge others. This would be our one step towards kindness and change for a better world.
Yes, I totally agree with this “YOUR ONE JUDGEMENT CAN CHANGE SOMEONE’S LIFE FOREVER”....
We have to broom ourselves with constructive and meaningful thoughts. We have to nourish our exientece with thinking, toiling, etc. We have to rise above jealousy, rudeness, hatred ness, I, (egoism), self-pride, and above all these be away from impolite conduct ill-language, feuds etc.
Yes, kindness is something that is not easily found in today's world. I only hope that we be nicer to each other and help to uplift each other more.
Yes, true we should be nicer to each other and helpful too
I think the best way to counteract judgement is to practice empathy. To put yourself in someone else's shoes and see the world from their perspective. Now obviously this has some limitations.
But the point is, even if the people around you judge you for who you are, you shouldn't let that be the reason you see yourself differently or act the way they want you to instead of following yourself.
I agree, that empathy is surely needed today, now more than ever and having a wider perception is necessary to understand other people's views better. I also agree that we should be more confident in our abilities .
But this may be difficult sometimes, especially when we are kids, when we don't have the maturity needed to understand and weigh someone's word. We tend to be more agreeing on what is said to us.
It's true, we all are learning our whole life. And that's a good thing. I hope everything goes well for you now?
P.S. are the images yours?
Life is always a learning process until the very end. And everything is already very good in my life.
P. S. The images are taken from Pixabay.
Great to hear that everything in your life is good.
May I give you a little advice to source the images, because otherwise there can be a problem when you're using images that are not your own.
The images are free to use and there is no need to provide any source or credit for these as they are under CCO Creative Commons License.
I know what kind license they are under, I have a few photo's on pixabay myself.
But here on steemit it's common to source your images. And let's face it, if you provide a photo on pixabay free to use, the least thing somebody that uses your photo, is source it. At least other people can see in that way who had made such a nice photo. It's a little credit and not that much trouble for the one who want to use the photo.
Ok thank you for telling me this. Will try to do it in my future post.
I was sure I had commented on this post... Might have forgotten to press the Post button :D
Again : interesting topic, miss @manisha.jain9 :)
In a society like ours were superficial actions and apparences easily suppress the perception of fundamental behaviours and being of individual people, fear of judgement is an over-used control tool.
This fear of judgement, and the ability nocive people have to use judgement as a weapon is also amplified by mass and group effects, and that's true it can be destructive, the worse being in my opinion long term bad self-life choices by fear to be judged.
Being an assumed individual opened to others is a pretty difficult way to walk on nowadays.
I agree that it is very difficult to be just be your true self in front of your people because some where everyone has that fear that people might think something about their behaviour or might not accept it. That’s the reason most people hold themselves back, knowingly or unknowingly. And it is not just one person’s fault. It is a mass thing and everyone is involved in that mass effect. I only hope we can be more kind and accepting to one another in the world. It would be such a beautiful one, a more welcoming one.
