Lookout Trees!
I got to flex the new chain on my chainsaw by helping my old man cut down this tree that was struck by lightning in his neighbors' backyard.
He walked me through the procedure to get the tree to fall with greater accuracy by using a winch to help with the operation. The cable was snaked around another tree for more leverage, and a tow strap was wrapped at a high point on the tree for greater leverage.
I remember helping my Dad a ton cut down trees as a kid, but I guess I never really paid attention to the techniques. Here's the next step he took by cutting a wedge in the direction the tree should fall. The winch was there to help start the momentum after the next step. I manned the winch while he did the back cut.
Here's the start of the back cut which is cut to slope down toward the top of the wedge. I tightened up the winch, and waited to see the tree start to fall to kick on the winch full blast.
Man.... it worked like a charm! He fell this joker right where he wanted it to go. It was a good thing this happened as a big wind may have caused the rotten part of the tree to fall on the neighbors' house.
Job well done! Looking forward to taking down some dead trees on my property.

I just loaded it on my IPhone, and it’s much faster than Duck Duck go.
If I read it correctly the BAT token/ reward program isn’t on IOS yet.

Ahh very cool man, Yeah I like the brave browser for my laptop but an still figuring everything out with the BAT token. Very neat idea, thanks for dropping by brother. I know! I paid close attention to this and maybe it'll help some other folks that are wanting to cut some trees down. I get jealous of your great hiking places man. You live in some beautiful country for sure. Floor looks awesome btw! did you totally complete it?

I am using Brave on my Mac computer now, and it is so much faster!
If I understand correctly the BAT token can't be withdrawn, only used to pay and support other good content creators, still figuring this all out.
Looks like you are getting started on your property, I love being self-sufficient!

That's great brother! Your floor looks awesome. Yeah the BAT token is quite interesting. I enabled it on my windows laptop I had some tokens in an exodus wallet and am excited about earning some more BAT for choosing to watch some adds through the browser. I'm still trying to get brave to work with my OBS but having issues. Seems like I can only get chrome to show up to display a webpage only when I do my podcast on Saturdays.

This is why I believe in Steem, and new tokens like BAT....
They have a value and a purpose, this blockchain functions!
We just need to spread the word! :)
The Brave browser is a lot faster on my Mac than Chrome, and I don't know if you have tried Steem Keychain, I think it also is a good add on to the Brave browser!
