MAKING A TOWEL FOR A CUTE BABY. Just a few steps! Bilingüe

Good morning my beautiful people of steemit! Tomorrow a beautiful baby is born of a dear friend, so yesterday I started to make her a present with some canvases that I had stored.

The result was this little towel, ready for the baby's first bath.

Para hacer esta toalla, todo lo que necesitamos es un paño del tamaño que queremos. Para un recién nacido puede ser de 80 cm por 60 cm. También si queremos combinarlo con otro color necesitamos un triángulo de otro paño, usé el color amarillo. Esta es para secar la cabeza del bebé.

To make this towel, all we need is a towel cloth the size we want. For a newborn it can be 80 cm by 60 cm. Also if we want to combine it with another color we need a triangle of another towel cloth, I used the yellow color. This one is for drying the baby's head.

Podemos colocarle unas aplicaciones, las recorté de otra tela que tenía, y como es un varoncito, utilicé un oso, una pelota y un cubo.

We can put some applications on it, I cut them out of another fabric I had, and since it's a boy, I used a bear, a ball and a bucket.

También necesitamos un sesgo para la orilla del triángulo. Primero pensé en colocarle uno azul. Pero después me decidí por uno amarillo pollito.

We also need a slant for the edge of the triangle. At first I thought I'd put a blue one on him. But then I decided on a yellow chick.

1.. Primero debemos coser las aplicaciones al triángulo de paño.

2.. Luego colocamos el sesgo a la orilla del triangulo y lo cosemos.

3.. Posteriormente unimos con alfileres por los reversos el triángulo a la esquina izquierda superior de la toalla, y cosemos.

4.. Volteamos al derecho y cosemos las orillas de la toalla y LISTO!!!
