The NEW NORMAL… (for all those suffering in Las Vegas)
It began as a concert
an innocent night of fun
turned into a massacre
a madman with a gun
he gave into the madness
the fury in his head
denying all that's right
and now so many are dead
the indiscriminate and brutal
slaughter of so many
deliberate violence
slow and steady
the hail of gunfire rang out
from high above
finding random victims
one by one
running for their lives
ducking for cover
there was nowhere to go
still they ran from the thunder
this senseless violence
an act of this kind
is so hard to understand
what takes place in their mind
such moral deficiency
disregard for human life
what torments a soul
creating that kind of strife
we all cherish freedom
our right to defend
but the lack of regulation
on so much more than a gun
defies all sensibility
something must be done
we cannot continue
to ignore such carnage
turn a blind eye
or sit back and just cringe
is this what we've become
is this now commonplace
is this -- the new normal!
It goes without saying.., but I'll say it anyway -- our hearts and our thoughts are with all those that were in harms way and affected by this massacre of innocent life. We stand in solemn reverence for the all the lives that have been taken.., and hope for recovery of those suffering.

In the USA… 273 mass shootings in 275 days.., over 10,000 gun deaths -- enough said!

it's too sad, i think this becomes now a world wide issue, the terrorist actives increasing day by day we all have to stand together hand in hand to fight against this brutality, It’s terrible to hear about the loss and I express my sincere sympathy to all families.

It's almost impossible to understand why these senseless acts of violence happen.., but we should recognize that mass shootings have been on the rise and seriously start thinking about what we can do about it -- if anything!
Exactly! Now is the time to take an action and put this madness to an end!
