CRYPTOTRENDS: General Public vs. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Steemit, and Bitshares [March 2, 2018 newsywire]

I thought it a good idea to start keeping a record of trending crypto stories. That is, the crypto transitioning of the OLD New World to the NEW New World. Below you will find trending news stories for the beginning of March (2nd 2018).

First, I list non-cryptocurrency focused stories. Sometimes crypto will make news here, but it will be because of the general public's interest.
