The illusion of greener pasture

Once in a while, many go in search of a greener pasture- land of milk and honey where standard of living is far better than where they are.
This quest seems right especially considering the shanties many find themselves in. Despite this, I have come to realize that most of our search for greener pastures are not worth it.
The grass is always green when you water the soil. Why choose to go to another well watered soil when you can wet yours and enjoy plenty rather than struggle for the limited space available outside there?
Greener pasture I say again happens where you water the soil.
