How I lost 18 kg without giving up the foods I love and how you can too

Hi,
I know the title sounds like one of those ads next to porn videos, but hey it made you click my blog, right ? (I hope someone is reading this lol)
Alright here's the deal :
I lost around 18 kg in around 6 months (maybe a little more, but 6 months sound pretty cool).
I did it without giving up chocolate, cakes and every delicious goodie I love.(pizza yay !)
I did workout ofc, you should too, you can still lose weight, but without any muscle you will look skinny fat and that's not sexy. :(
I had to restrict the amount of food I took in of course. :(
How to lose weight like I did:
1.
Stop drinking sweet drinks
2.Start drinking lots of water ( I mean lots, like 3 litres a day )
3.Start drinking green tea - pure, no flavors
4.Build some muscle
5.Check the caloric content of everything you put in your body
6.Get into intermittent fasting
7.Do some HIIT cardio / normal cardio
8.Don't do drastic diets
9.Break the rules sometimes
Explaining the points:
1. I know they are tasty and whatever, but they are packed with calories like you wouldn't believe - just check the contents, it's horrible.
2.
After you do this, you automatically start losing some weight - this is known as water weight and you might even lose some inches around your body, because your body won't need the extra water stored there.
3.
Green tea contains things that make your metabolism faster and give you energy like taurin etc. This is why green tea extract is used in many fat burning supplements.
4.
The more muscle you have, the more calories your body needs - you can eat more !!! yay :3 I would recommend not trying to build muscle and losing weight at the same time though - muscle building needs excess calories - excess calories mean putting on weight, try building muscle before you start restricting. Total beginners don't have to worry about this , you start building muscle immediately, because your body isn't used to exercise.

The average person needs around 1750 calories a day to maintain weight(the number varies depending on your weight and a lot of factors, look for a metabolic rate calculator on the internet, 1750 is just a random number lol), eat less than that and you start losing weight !

This means not eating for a period of time (I do 16 hours) and then having a feeding window.(8 hours, of course) This will automatically restrict the amount of calories you put in, because you skip a meal.You might be hungry at first, but your body will get used to it.(and the cakes are worth it haha) I eat till 8 p.m and have my first meal after 12 a.m. I start the day with a green tea to get some energy, you might like a coffee with your tea, just don't use milk, sugar or anything that has any caloric value,(you can use sweeteners) as this breaks your fast and makes you hungry.
7.
You don't have to do this if you can control yourself and only eat enough food, I like to eat a lot of sweets and other food, so I have to do cardio to make my metabolism a little faster and burn some calories doing it. HIIT cardio takes less time then normal cardio, but you gotta go hard :) It also makes your metabolism faster.Normal cardio works out your heart and lungs, so you shouldn't skip that either. :)
8.Only do diets that you can stand doing for a long time , eating salads for a month might get you ripped, but you will very likely get fat in the next month of binging lol.
9.
Have a cheat day every week - eat only sweets if you like, just don't take in all the calories you saved during the week haha. Don't be that guy - go out with your friends, drink, eat and have fun , just don't do it everyday :)Cheat days actually help you lose fat in the long run, because without caloric spikes, your metabolism will slow down and you would have to restrict even more.

Extra tip - eating hot peppers increases your metabolism as well.

It's very simple - eat less calories than you burn and you will lose fat.

The most important tip is to listen to your body, if you feel ill dieting, stop it and go talk to your doctor.
