Let's Go Back in Time! Do YOU Remember "What"? or "Where"?

Okay, do you remember the popular childhood song, "Twinkle, twinkle, little star?" Great! If you DO, then sing to yourself the first eight words. Go ahead, I'll wait until you do...

Now, what WORD did YOU sing for the seventh? "What"? or "Where"?

Many people remember singing one word, and many others remember singing the other! But if you look this up on a search engine (Google in this case), you'll find:

"Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are.
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.

WHY is there such a discrepancy with remembering something so simple almost everyone feels certain they know the correct answer to? It's called,"The Mandela Effect" and it's been a major discussion topic and mystery on the Internet for years!
