Epic Games has announced in a blog post that its popular online title 'Fortnite' will hit Android smartphones this summer, further adding some of the news that fans can expect for the coming times.

The production team has confirmed that a voice-chat option and battery-saving mode is being developed to allow players to continue playing even with less power than they would like, notes The Verge.

'Fortnite' is already available on iOS operating system. At the launch, the game topped the top of downloaded games in Apple's online store and, according to data from analytics firms, made $ 15 million in revenue in the first three weeks just by shopping through the app.

Of course, the launch on Android is expected to help catapult this revenue.
