Real True Friends Are Hard To Find

You meet new people on a daily basis. At work, the gym , the grocerie store..everywhere. Some of them become friends and will stay in your life for a while. Others will stay a lot longer and they will become very close friends...besties so to say

Not everybody is blessed with real close friends, ofcourse they will have friends they have fun with or even fight with every once in a while but are they willing to stick by you no matter what?
I am blessed with 3 of those friends but this guy here is by far the bestiest friend I ever had and will have, We go back for about 16 years now and I met him at the bowling alley where I used to work.

Ofcourse I've met many people there but with this guy there was an instant click.

There are some people that think that a good friendship between a man and a woman will never work but we are living proof it can work. In the 16 years I've know this guy we never had a fight or heated discussion. There are times we don't see each other for months or don't even really talk for days..other than the comments on facebook but as soon as we see each other again everything is still the same. No hard feelings or pointing fingers.

He moved a few months ago to the other side of the country and this weekend I finally went there to see him and his girlfriend in their new house, It was like I just saw them yesterday, now THAT'S friendship, true friendship. To know you can rely on the other person no questions asked,knowing they are just a phone call away no matter what hour of the day. Friendships like this are hard to find these day so I really cherrish this one, love this guy with all my heart, now and forever
