A Fairy Tale ending
I was not going to do a post today as I am feeling very sad, but decided to do a very short one as a tribute to two wonderful people _ namely my eldest sister and her husband.
I received the very sad news that my sister passed away yesterday - her husband phoned me last night to tell me.
Then you can imagine my utter shock when a couple of hours later, I received the news that he too had passed away.
Their marriage had been for many years and they had stood by one another through all their struggles in life.
Two amazing people who truly loved each other and enriched the lives of others.
The fact that they were both taken from this world just hours apart is a true fairy tale ending to the lives of these of two wonderful people.
So sorry for your loss. I can not imagine. At least they had their fairy tale ending.

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone. Those we love can never be more that a thought apart. For as long there is a memory, they’ll live on in our hearts.
Time may dull the pain but we will never forget these loved ones. Please accept my condolences.

I am so sorry to hear this news @lizziesworld; to say it's a shock is such an understatement. The way you're looking at it as a "true fairy tale ending" is so sweet and loving though. There's a part of everyone I think that would feel like this...at least they are together again, but that doesn't take away from the terrible pain you and your family are feeling right now. I never know the words to offer comfort. My brain goes numb and nothing I could say seems like it could possibly help.
All I can do is put on some Jackson Browne, or whatever music helps to soothe my soul.
