Are you teaching your kids right? - A beautiful, touching and thought-provoking short film - ALIKE (2015)
In a busy life, Copi is a father who tries to teach the right way to his son, Paste. But... what is the correct path?
There are some films, series, and even commercials really thought-provoking, don't you think?!
This happened to me this morning after seeing this Alike short film. It let me think the message could apply not only to children education but also to us as 'grown ups' !!
This short film directed by Daniel Martínez Lara and Rafa Cano Méndez presents a father and son story with internal conflicts, including work, routine and alienation, and incorporates them into the experience of a child, and that of a father and son relationship, where the father tries to teach the right path to his son. It has won a 'couple' of rewards so far!!
After seeing this animation I kept thinking in how we go through life and we don't appreciate the things that we have and the things that are around us, because we are too much focused on problems at work, with relatives, and finantial issues.
I believe we all would benefit from letting the inner child we ALL HAVE free!! Our days will be, FOR SURE, more colorful!
