He thought he could get popularity by jumping on the anti-Trump bandwagon but the fact that said bandwagon is false reporting by CNN and co meant it failed. That aside, the type of coffee that Starbucks sells is now available everywhere for cheaper and aside from providing free WIFI, there is no reason for the average student-type to visit them. Even that, the last time I was in a Starbucks, the entire place was taken up by students on their computers not ordering anything and not letting real customers sit. No wonder their stock is going nowhere fast, much like the novelty of paying $7 for some coffee I can get freshly-ground at McDonalds for less.
