The Joy of Homesteading

Does everyone else on the homestead have a complete attitude change after getting home from work and driving onto your homestead and being welcomed by your animals along with all your land and the things you have accomplished?

How could you not be in a great mood when you get home and are greeted with smiles and excited squeals from all the livestock excited to see you and welcome you home no matter what type of day you had.

My animals are a huge destresser for me after a long day. Always greeting me with smiles and grins.

    So true. When I go outside in the morning and the whole flock of chickens are at the gate huddled and waiting it makes me smile. Then there is our chicken Ms. B. She waits until everyone has food and water. You set a small little pile of food aside for her and she coos at you. She wiggles her feathery feet and it looks like she's dancing. She'll even let me pet her and pick her up. She's such a darling.
