I understand that you believe that the person you have become is the most acceptable person, so it makes up for who you are. But I ask you, do you really feel comfortable with who you are today? I bet you do not, since many of us live a cardboard life that covers the diamond inside you.

It is not a secret that an authentic person always loves because in some way that person is what they want to be and it does not matter what people, from their perspective, think or pi, without affecting at all the criticisms and offenses that may come from outside.
