I am dedicated to my country as much as I am to humanity in general. I respect people, cultures and traditions from other countries as much as my own. While I certainly support and do best for my country, I'm not a subscriber of the classic patriotic thought, which is - the best for our country at the expense of others. This is what lead to so much war, famine and suffering before the modern era.

In short, I care for my country. I obviously have a sweet spot for it. But I also care for all good people and countries around the world as much.
