Surround yourself with people you want to be like

I agree with this quote. I believe that if you surround yourself to those people who lift you up, encourage and support you, chances are you'll be successful.
Don't listen to those who belittle you, slow you down and hold you back towards achieving your goals. They are dream crushers and these people are negative. They complain a lot, make excuses, they are very toxic and they bring your energy level down. Sometimes it's hard if a spouse, or family is the toxic person., but you gotta be strong and stick to your goals, even in those around you don't believe in you.
Surround yourself with people who can give you positive yet honest feedback and support. Those people who want you succeed, will support you, inspire you, encourage you no matter how scary the outcome could be because they know your dreams are important to you, they will be there for you, they will be your number one fan, and will believe that you can become great.
Take a look at the people around your life. Who supports you? Who brings you down? Only you can tell.
Don't let anyone dictate your life. It doesn't matter what your ambitions are, what matters most is you don't give into that voice inside that begs you to be safe, be forgotten and not make any difference in this world.
I hope this message brings you inspiration.

Well the institution gets in our way to begin with and then we take that on as "normal" and forget how powerful we really are~*~
Very true! The institution just wants us to be great factory workers. They beat out any creativity and originality during "school" and train us to conform to the norms they set. The best path to happiness is to set sail into what's uncomfortable and continually challenge ourselves.

I feel the best person to keep in your life is someone who encourages you to fail, then helps you find a better direction. Someone who doesn't just support your dreams, but helps you find new ones. We are not gods capable of anything, but just because one door closes doesn't mean it's time to give up. You just find a different path that suits you better.
I totally agree! Failure is the best teacher. Having someone who helps you fail in a positive way is a rare gift.
