I remember that distant afternoon in which my aunt took me to meet him. There are few memories that coexist in the resonance box of my memory related to that time. Do not imagine that I remember the details of everything, just a few moments. I can close my eyes and recreate it as if I lived it again: there I was, speechless, the fascination of the moment made me walk surprised by everything I saw, it was a new world before the eyes, full of colors, gadgets, sounds and sensations, a couple of laps, looks lost and then, suddenly, came out of nowhere and made my everything, the imposing figure that far from scare me left me the surprise of a smile in the mouth. I will never forget those huge, wide-open eyes and their protruding jaws full of sharp teeth, almost deadly, and I say almost because they were not real, That shark was sensational, but not part of the reality, well, not the traditional one. It was part of something I discovered at that time to enrich my stay in this life: the world of cinema.

Dear readers, I told you about the first image I remember sitting in a movie theater. It was a great virtual shark trying to bite Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future 2. I could already understand the meaning of that scene so striking for a child who did not know cinema.

Back to the Future 2 was released in 1989, by then I was just a little boy, but that movie ignited my passion for the seventh art. Many moons have crossed the sky since then and many have been the stories that I have enjoyed on the big screen.

Going to the movies became a necessity of life, a reiterative pleasure, and a place of important encounters. It's the perfect date to intertwine my hands between my wife's and snuggle as we are moved by some interesting story. It is the space where the impossible becomes tangible and the dreams of the imagination become possible.

With the passage of time and the complicity of my mother I began to make the movie theaters my favorite place. In Venezuela, on Mondays, an entrance costs half of its value. How many movies were we together? There are many, to my memory come some classics of the 90's as Jurasic Park, Batman Tim Burton, Mrs. Doubtfire, Braveheart, Sixth Sense, The Lion King, Matrix, immortal classics that woke up my imagination and moved me directly to other worlds.

Dear reader, I do not lie to you when I assure you that I really enjoy good movies. It is an escape as there are few for enjoyment and recreation. The years have continued their inexorable course and I have continued to lead the way to the most striking premieres. Films of all kinds and themes, between independent productions and others with millionaire budgets. Many times I have met little enjoyable movies, devoid of soul and passion, but the cinema, fellow reader, does not have to be perfect, it is a human product.

Between treats and drinks, my friends, I invite you to lean on the tanned and cushioned seats. Let's walk the paths of Oz, together design the navigation route between corsairs and pirates, do not run aground, on the contrary, we take off leaving a trail in a galaxy far away and sink into the thunderous silence of the universe. We dream of building it so that they come, we are the architects of a change to free the world from evil, we discover that nothing is what it seems and that we are the chosen ones. The cinema like other arts chose us as its receptors, we know how to appreciate it and enjoy it, because at the end of all that is the primordial reason, to enjoy.
