After the victory of the October Revolution in Russia, the penalties imposed on convicts are considered to be the most cruel in the whole world history of law. And in the same way misdemeanors committed minor offenses, such as self-indulgence, stealing chickens or insulting the action ... But the law is the law, such is power. The sentence for the criminals sounded as follows: "I sentence to imprisonment until the complete victory of the world revolution."

The October Revolution (Russian: Октя́брьская револю́ция, tr.
