It's how the "Machine" remains undying, giving the masses the illusion of good choices while playing the "game" they set forth for you. Choosing not to play isn't a option for most without firmly planting themselves in somebody else s gutter (<-----See what I did there, that person can't even own the gutter). I can't knock someone for accumulating and using there unfair advantages though its apart of the actual game we should be playing if life can be modeled as a game. I myself try to understand the rules better then most. Game theory I believe they call it.
