Now they remained as memories.

Lately, I met with a long time friend way back in a high school. It’s been 20 years! And we recounted all the high school stuffs - homework, crushes, school works, our innocence and child-likeness.

Suddenly, those years just pass by instantly like a lightning! 20 years seems a long time; but talking with her made me realize 20 years was just like a flash of light that sparkle for a little while.. then gone!… how fleeting!

But what made us still feel so close is that the good times of our friendship.
It gave us a feeling of comfort of the happy days of our youth that we stuck together during those times when we were both coming to know our own selves and we both appreciated each other for being there for one another.

It was a sweet moment of recounting and remembering.. that’s all that we did.. lots of laughs and hugs.

What matters years from now is how we spend our life to things, people and tasks that matter most to us. Those that make our heart swell with inspiration and smiles.

We want to look back at memories we want to remember that give us reasons to smile.

So, be courageous to follow your heart; do the things that make you happy; be with people who make you feel whole for life is just a quick streak of light that passes through.
