Hi Steemians, have you ever thought about it? Human depends more on technology in this epoch as compared to last century. Technological advancement improves human lifestyle. It gives comfort and eases to humans. With advancement in technology, medical science is improving day by day. Due to a presence of various complications in childbirth infant death rate was very high before the advancement in medical science.
The birth rate was low at the same time death rate was high due to the lack of medical facilities availability. Therefore, the population was less at that time. But, now with all the medical facilities population of the world is rising.

Considering this fact, can we say that it will be the population explosion in the future?
I must say statistics supports this notion. In coming future, it will be a population explosion. You know that it took the entire humankind history to reach the 1 billion population milestone in 1820 but in the next hundred year, the population of the world became double that was 2 billion in 1930. After 45 years, the population became 4 billion. The number of people in the world had been increased from 4.4 billion in 1980 to 5.8 billion in 2017. This rate of enhancement clearly indicates that rate of birth is much higher than the rate of death.
In addition to above, there is another interesting fact that in the last century big countries had fought two world wars in which a huge number of people were murdered. The rate of death was much high as compared to the past in the war years but still, the world population is at the milestone of 6 billion presently.

It is estimated with this rate of growth the world population will be doubled in the next 40 years. Roughly speaking we human will be 14 billion in the year 2050. United Nations estimation is the population of the world will be 10 billion in 2025. However, the birth rate in various countries is going in the negative also death rate is decreasing day by day but still, our population is increasing due to accumulative effect.
All foregone mentioned statistics show that there will be the population explosion in near future.
But, the question arises, is it a population explosion dangerous to the human race?
Humans are living on this planet for hundreds of years. They were segregated in different areas and did not know about each other. With the passage of time, humans discovered their counterparts. Now the situation is, countries which are far away from each other knows each other very well. The world becomes the global village. There is no problem if you want to live in a country other than your native.

Do you know what will be the positive impact of population explosion?
People interaction will enhance. Human from the different race will live together. As we have no other place to live. Whatever we do, whoever we are, does not matter. Either you are the billionaire or impoverished you can’t live out of this plant. It is, therefore, enhancing in population will alleviate the distance between the countries.
Countries have to forget the hostility and people will live together due to the shortage of land. In addition to above, intercultural marriages will happen in our earth due to an enhanced population which will reduce the hostile behavior among the different races.

To conclude
Yes, it is true that it will be the population explosion in near future but it is also true that population explosion not only has some bad results also have some long-lasting good repercussions.

In my opinion and with the exception of living longer (nearly forever in a sense - until suicide or accident) - the birthrates will mean fewer and fewer humans as time goes on looking much longer term.

Population isn't anything to really worry about, most of the Earth's land area is still rural/uninhabited,and if there's a worldwide food or resources shortage, people will have less children. It's self correcting.

I agree that the human population growth is on an exponential expansion. With the world's water usable water supply at less than 1% of Earth's water content and fast declining, humanity will need rational long term conservation policies or face extinction. Human waste products are destroying oceanic ecosystem upon which all Earth life depend. Our current social and economic course is unsustainable. President Carter once attempted reforms to align US policies to conservationist model. The public definitely rejected his vision then, I hope our current society has shifted to a more rational frame.
