It is not a trivial matter that mindfulness is becoming increasingly popular. There are a number of businesses that are currently showing interest in this ancient Buddhist practice that is gaining attention because to its supposedly miraculous therapeutic benefits.

According to findings from recent research, practicing mindfulness on a regular basis can lower the production of cortisol, which is the hormone that is responsible for stress, as well as sensations of anxiety and exhaustion.

Each thought is consequently written down on a sheet, which then continues to flow without anyone making an effort to remember it by any means.

You have moved away from the current moment and are most likely merging with your thoughts if you find that you are no longer putting ideas on the leaves or even visualising the river at any given instant. This indicates that you have moved away from the present moment.

Through the practice of this exercise, you will not only be able to be in the here and now, but you will also be able to be in a state of permanent connection with your inner self and know that you are always experiencing it.
