The recent intergovernmental statement by European financial ministers means that the European Union is going to block the establishment of private, or better said, company driven cryptocurrencies as regarding the case of Facebook and Libra.

The decision is not final since the statement contains mentions of blocking initiatives as Libra until "all risks have been analysed and evaluated". However, this is still a bad statement since Europe as well as the world needs more decentralisation and reward economy.
